Ardennes-Etape Contest Rules

Article 1 – About the Contest

1.1.

Ardennes-Etape is a registered trademark of ASTERIA, a Belgian private limited company with registered office at 4970 Stavelot, Ster 3 B, and registered at the  Banque Carrefour des Entreprises under the number 0473.952.094.

Ardennes-Etape organises contests that are subject to the following Regulations (hereinafter referred to as « Regulations »).  

The Regulations are applicable to any competition organised by Ardennes-Etape regardless of the medium on which the competition is open to participants (including the website www.ardennes-etapes.be and/or the Facebook page « www.facebook.com/ILoveArdennesEtape »). 

1.2.

By entering the Contest, participants acknowledge to have read and fully agree to these Regulations, the General Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Ardennes-Etape.

1.3.

The practical details of the Contest will be provided by Ardennes-Etape before the start of the competition on the platforms from which the Contest is available.

These rules shall specify the prize or prizes to be won, and the dates and time when the Contest begins and ends.

The Contest is completely free to enter and it is not necessary to purchase any of the services offered by Ardennes-Etape.  

1.4.

Ardennes-Etape is not responsible for any contest organised by third parties in connection with its activities, without the prior express consent of Ardennes-Etape.

Article 2 – Eligibility

2.1.

The Contest is open to any person over the age of majority; with the exception of employees of the organising company and of any other company involved in the implementation of the Contest, as well as members of their immediate families.

Winners who have not reached the age of majority at the time of wining will not be able to claim the prize.

2.2.

Entrants are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide, and for any consequence arising from subsequent changes.

If there is any indication of false or mistaken identity and/or address, it will result in the immediate disqualification of the entry.

Entrants give full authorisation to Ardennes-Etape to conduct any checks concerning their identity and contact information.

Ardennes-Etape reserves the right to refuse awarding the prize if the contestant did not complete the registration form in accordance with the information on his/her proof of address and identity documents, which must be presented in order to claim the prize.

Article 3 – Terms of Entry

3.1.

Participation in the Contest is only valid via the entry form provided by Ardennes-Etape in the platform(s) where Ardennes-Etape organises the Contest.

3.2.

Any entry that goes against these Regulations and does not meet the practical requirements provided by Ardennes-Etape before the start of the Contest, will be considered null and void.

If an entry does not meet the conditions of these Regulations or the practical requirements provided by Ardennes-Etape prior to the start of the Contest, it will not be taken into account for awarding the prize; even if the answers provided by the entrant are correct.

3.3.

The decision of Ardennes-Etape in selecting the winners is final and binding. Therefore, the decision may not be challenged under no circumstances.

Article 4 – Prizes

4.1.

The winners of the Contest will be notified by email or by private message via Facebook, and at the contact details given for the registration in the Contest; at the same time, they will receive the information about the terms for receiving their prize.

4.2.

Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged or converted into cash.

Article 5 – Liability

5.1.

Ardennes-Etape will not be held responsible for any damages, direct or indirect, arising for participation in the Contest and/or the awarding of the prizes. Ardennes-Etape is particularly relieved of any responsibility in the event that the prize consists of a product or service provided by a partner.

5.2.

All incomplete entries, illegible, or incorrect answers are considered null and void participation in the Contest.

Ardennes-Etape may in no case be held responsible for illegible answers and/or loss of electronic entries sent by entrants.

5.3.

In the the event of force majeure or circumstances beyond its control, Ardennes-Etape will not be held responsible if it must shorten, extend,  postpone, modify or cancel the Contest.

5.4.

Finally, Ardennes-Etape will be not be held responsible for errors in the delivery of the prizes, loss or damage during their shipment, their non-reception, or late delivery.

Article 6 – Amendments

Ardennes-Etape reserves the right to make any changes to the Regulations at any time, without notice or obligation to justify its decision, and without being held responsible for doing so.

All entrants will be deemed to have accepted these changes simply by participating in the Contest, as of the effective date of the amendments. Whenever possible, participants will be notified of such changes.

Article 7 – Protection of Personal Data

Entrants are informed that their names and contact information will be processed electronically.

Ardennes-Etape takes great care in protecting the personal data that entrants provide. The processing of their data is in accordance with the Privacy policy available  here by participating in the Contest, entrants acknowledge having read and agreed to the conditions described in that Privacy policy.

Article 8 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Regulations are governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of the judicial district of Liège, in the Verviers division, have jurisdiction in any dispute.
