Verviers Swimming Pool with Ardennes-Etape
The Verviers swimming pool, the only one in the city, is 25 metres long and 14 metres wide. Maximum depth is 1.90 metres and the water's temperature is regulated all year long. There is also a smaller pool for the very young children.

Municipal Swimming Pool Verviers

Construction works on the municipal swimming pool started in 1958 in the city centre of Verviers. Five years later, the building was inaugurated in presence of the Belgian king and queen. The concept of the building used to be a prime example in its sort in terms of architecture and water management.

The pool is 25 metres long and 14 metres wide and has a maximum depth of 1.90 metres. The water is kept at the same temperature all year through. There is room for seven lanes. Next to the main pool there also is a children’s pool, 14 metres long, 8 metres wide and with a maximum depth of 90 centimetres.
