RAVeL 5 - alongside the river Ourthe

Set off for a discovery tour alongside the Ourthe river banks. RAVeL 5 takes you to Durbuy, the 'smallest town in the world' and one of the most beautiful spots in the Belgian Ardennes.

RAVeL 5 - alongside the river Ourthe

This last part of the RAVeL network, RAVeL 5, follows the river Ourthe and is divided into two sections:

- line 38: from Vaux-sous-Chèvremont to Hombourg (37km)
- Ourthe: Liège to Durbuy (53km)

Line 38 leads you straight to the Land of Herve. This is the connection between the city of Liège and the German border. As a test, this part of Line 38, between Hombourg and Soumagne, consists of a gravel road.

The second part takes you through the valley of the river Ourthe. This beautifully green environment is paradise for nature enthusiasts.

RAVeL 5 might be interrupted at some point. No worries, deviations are clearly indicated. For the part between Comblain-la-Tour and Durbuy you can follow the “RandoVélo7” road signs.
