To find the holiday home of your dreams, you can search by date. The list of results will display all the houses that correspond to your criteria and which are available on the date you searched for.

You can also look for a rental without knowing your departure date. In this case, Ardennes-Etape will spontaneously offer you the next 5 periods available as well as the relevant prices. What could be more convenient?

You have selected the criteria which your future rental home should meet. This will enable you to obtain a list of all the houses which meet your requirements.

Just click on the photo or on “More information” to obtain the complete details for the property you have selected: photos, a general description, the location and composition of the interior design, specific features… You will also find a wealth of tourist information to prepare your stay.

Step 1: Selecting the house you prefer

1. On the home page, take advantage of the numerous possibilities with the search engine to define the criteria for your next holiday home rental:
10 variables help you to choose. The number of houses corresponding to your selection is displayed straight away.

2. As soon as you have selected your search settings, click on “Find”. You will obtain the list of properties which correspond to your requirements.
If the criteria that you have selected do not give enough rental possibilities, Ardennes-Etape helps you. Below your own search, we suggest a list of holiday houses that correspond most closely to your requirements.

3. From the list of results, select the house of your choice by clicking once on the photograph or on "More Info". The description of the suggested accommodation then appears.
You always have the option of returning to the list of results and of consulting the technical description of other properties that can be rented.

Quick tip: read the whole description. There is a lot of information in it which will help you to prepare for your holidays.

Step 2: Book your destination.

1. The “Book now” button at the bottom, to the right of the photos allows you to continue the process in order to confirm the rental of your future holiday home.

2. If you have already been on holiday with ARDENNES-ETAPE, enter your login (E-mail address) and password. If you have forgotten them, you can contact us via E-mail. We will send you them as soon as possible. 

3. Are you a new customer? Select “New user” and create a personal account on our website. Please send us your contact details. They will be used in order to send you all the information you will need for your stay. Important: Please ensure that you enter your e-mail address correctly.

4. Click on “Confirm “

Step 3: Participants/Insurance.

1. Please provide us with details on the composition of your group: number of adults*, number of adolescents*, children and if applicable, pets*.
The number of people in your group must not exceed the number specified by the maximum capacity of the holiday house. This number includes everyone: babies, children and adults.

2. In this section, you can take out a cancellation and rental damages insurance policy. If you book a holiday house which cost more than 500€, the cancellation insurance is compulsory.

Step 5: Summary of the booking.

The window that opens before you gives a summary of the composition of your group. Within 24 hours, you will receive a confirmation of your booking, which sums up all the information you will need to pay the deposit for your rental within 5 days.

Your login is your e-mail address. You choose your password, for example your name and date of birth. These two codes will enable you to enter your booking and access all the information you will need regarding your booking.

No. In order not to disturb the tenants staying in the property, visits are not possible. Ardennes-Etape guarantees high quality accommodations, classified on a scale from 1 to 5 stars. We regularly visit each property in order to guarantee the level of quality and to ensure that it corresponds to the photos and description.

No, it is not possible to take out an option.
By way of exception, a provisional booking can be made for large capacity houses. This provisional booking will be valid for 48 hours. Please contact the call centre about this.

Congratulations, you have found a holiday house which is free in last minute. For this type of booking, you are asked to pay the full amount in one time as soon as you receive the confirmation. No deposit is asked.

Several types of payment are possible:
- bank transfer;
- credit card: Mastercard, Visa.

If your holiday begins in less than 14 days, we ask you to send us the proof of your payment. This can be done by mail to comptabilité@ardennes-etape.com or by fax +32 80 29 24 09.

Be careful, as long as Ardennes-Etape has not received the payment of your booking and, if need be (if the stay begins on the same day or in a few days), the proof of payment you will not receive the precise information about your holiday house (exact address, keys,…)

Ardennes-Etape must receive the deposit within 5 days. If we do not receive the deposit, the property will be made available for rental during the period which you booked it for.
Ardennes-Etape must receive the balance of the amount due 8 weeks before you set off on your holiday.

In case of a last minute reservation, the total amount must be received within 5 days after the confirmation of your reservation, and must anyway be deposited on the account of Ardennes-Etape before the beginning of your stay.

Via credit card:

In case of a last minute reservation, you can also pay with VISA or MASTERCARD.

The payment by credit card (Mastercard - Visa ) is only possible for last minute reservations.

How many people can stay in my holiday house ?

You’ll find the number of people that the house of your choice can accommodate on its description sheet.
When you are searching for accommodation, don’t forget to take into account all the members making up your group. Babies and young children are counted in the same way as teenagers and adults even if they will be sleeping in a bed that you take with you.

For fire safety reasons, it is strictly forbidden to exceed the maximum capacity of the holiday house that you wish to rent.

The equipement for babies is indicated in the description of the holiday home you have choosen. If there is no mention of it in the description, this means that there is no equipment for babies in the house.

When choosing our future holiday house, to what extent do I have to take into account the fact that our baby will be with us?

For safety reasons, particularly in the event of fire, Ardennes-Etape draws your attention to the importance of keeping within the maximum capacity of your future accommodation.
Even if he/she sleeps in a bed that you take with you, your baby or young child is, of course, also included in the count. Please adapt the choice of your future holiday house to the fact that he/she will be with you.

Can I take my pet with me?
This information is included in the description of the holiday home.
In some houses pets are not allowed, in others, they are accepted free of charge or with a supplement.

In other cases, pets are accepted on condition that the owner of the property agrees.
If this is the case for you, please provide us with information on the type of animal and its size. Your booking is temporarily suspended until we receive the owner’s reply.

Important: if you take your pet with you without the owner’s permission, you may be refused access to the holiday home.

- nature of the group: family or not.
- age of the youngest person and age of the oldest person.

We ask you to confirm that you are aware of the particular terms of access. The information about your group is sent to the owner.
Your booking will be confirmed when the owner has accepted the composition of your group.

Caution.
If a group books one of these houses but gives information which turns out to be incorrect on arrival, the owner can deny access to the house.

In most holiday houses it is forbidden to smoke inside.
This guarantees the security of the tenants in the house (against fire, among others). This also maintains the quality of the holiday house.

Are there any extra charges?

Some charges may not be included in the rental price. Details of these charges are clearly mentioned in the description of each holiday home. The amounts in question mainly cover: water, electricity, gas and heating oil consumption. Cleaning, tourist taxes, household waste management, use of an internet connection, etc. are additional charges.

Booking fees

The booking fees related to your reservation amount to 22.5€ per reservation.

 

Insurances

When you book your future holiday house, you have the possibility of taking out 2 sorts of insurances : cancellation insurance as well as rental damage insurance. If the rental amount is equal or higher than 500€, the cancellation insurance is compulsory.

Heating, electricity, water…
In the description of the holiday home, these charges can either be included, fixed at a set price or calculated on the basis of actual consumption.

Cleaning
The specifications sheet for the holiday home indicates whether cleaning is included, and whether it is obligatory and must be paid for, or optional and must be paid for: in the latter case, you are free to clean the property yourself.
In both cases, the holiday home must be tidied, the furniture must be placed in its original location, the washing up must be done and put away and the bins taken out.

Tourist tax
For some holiday homes, a tourist tax is required: this is calculated per person or per adult (>14) and per night or per stay.
If applicable, details of this tourist tax are given in the description of each holiday home.

Deposit
Depending on the house you rent, the owner asks you either:
- to pay the deposit at the same time as the booking into the Ardennes-Etape account, or
- to give it to him/her personally on arrival. In that case, you will always be given a receipt.

The deposit can be reimbursed at the end of the stay when the keys are handed over or within 15 days into your bank account.
For this reason, please give the BIC and IBAN codes for your account to the owners when you arrive.
Information about the deposit is provided in the description of your holiday house.

Dustbins

In the Ardennes, the local communities endeavour to protect our environment. In many rented accommodation units, you will be asked to sort any rubbish you may have for recycling. For this purpose, the owners place various bins at your disposal intended exclusively for either glass, paper and cardboard, plastics, aluminium cans or Tetra Pak cartons.
Please sort any household rubbish you may have carefully. Thank you in advance.
Anything that cannot be recycled is collected in bin bags, for which there is usually a charge.
