Description

Dive into History with a capital H, and relive one of the greatest battles of the Second World War!

A stone's throw from the famous Mardasson Memorial, the Bastogne War Museum is the most important Second World War memorial site in the Ardennes and in Belgium. Its main focus is the Bataille des Ardennes (the Battle of the Bulge). At the heart of this museum unlike any other, you are plunged into an immersive experience with three multi-sensory presentations that enable you to follow the journeys of four characters at the centre of the conflict. Discover this important period in history from a first-person perspective. Through sets, testimonials, multimedia installations and films, the exhibition appeals to both the mind and the heart, making you, the visitor, feel that this piece of history means something to you, personally. It is an intense, lively and fascinating experience that will not leave you unmoved, a touching experience to share among family or friends.

Take a moment to reflect on what you have just seen by heading to the cafeteria with its stunning view over the Mardasson Memorial. Want to continue your dive through history? Then don't miss the Second World War and Battle of the Bulge book and souvenir shop!
