In the heart of the vibrant city of Liège, Place Saint-Lambert entails the large history of our civilization: from prehistoric traces to a Roman villa.
The archeoforum is a successful museum that brings us back in contact with culture with capital "C". The modern stage design emphasizes this extraordinary building. Videos, slideshows and 3D simulations... are focused on the visitor's interests. The guided tour takes you from the outside to the inside of the building and demonstrates the importance of the site and the buildings who succeeded after.
On top of that, the Archeoforum disposes of iPads that allow you to discover everything on your own pace and in your own language. The iPad provides additional information and offers fun activities for children.
In the Liege Archeoforum you will get to understand and appreciate the important and essential role of the city of Liège, starting in the 10th century up until the 21st. From the Stone Age to today, you will crosse the 2 levels where prehistorical discoveries, the Gallo-Roman villa, the 3 cathedrals etc. will be exposed... Each phase of the site's evolution will be presented en placed into its context.
After a day in the city, rent an Ardennes-Etape holiday home and enjoy numerous touristic activities in the Ardennes!
