The animal park of Bouillon was founded in 1989 with the purpose of improving contact between man and nature. All generations get the chance to (re)discover the rich fauna and flora the Belgian Ardennes has to offer.
Bouillon Animal Park
At the heights of Bouillon you will find the Parc Animalier de Bouillon in a spot of untainted natural beauty in the Belgian Ardennes. The goal of the wildlife park is to improve the contact between man and animal, and has been so since 1989.
The paths through the park lead you from one animal to another, some of them originated in the area, like deer, wild boars, foxes, mouflons,… Others come from other countries or even other continents, like the American bison, lynxes, wolves, ostriches and kangaroos. Visitors can check out more than 200 animals of 50 different species.
The Bouillon Animal Park is evidently recognized as an official zoo and offers visitors the opportunity to discover or rediscover animals that are now unfortunately extinct. It guarantees a lovely day for all ages and is therefore ideal for a family day out.
You can enjoy a cold beer or a refreshing soda in the tastefully decorated cafeteria, or even revitalize with a meal.
The Bouillon area has a lot more to offer. We recommend the famous castle, where you can watch a falconry show, or the Archeoscope Godfrey of Bouillon. A stay in one of the Ardennes-Etape holiday homes is the ideal way to visit the wildlife park of Bouillon and to explore the rest of this beautiful region.
