The charming town of Profondeville is located in the Province of Namur (Belgium), more precisely in the Condroz region. In this region, you may admire the reliefs of the Ardennes as well as the valley of the Meuse river. The villages of Yvoir and Anhée are also close. If you like flowers and castles, why not visit de Jardins d’Annevoie (Gardens of Annevoie)? If you are looking for fun activities, you may enjoy a kayak trip down the Lesse river or a boat trip on the Meuse… You may also discover the Draisines de la Molignée (‘railbikes of the Molignée’) and explore the region in an original way. From your holiday home, you will also be able to visit the well-known town of Dinant: a visit of the citadel, a licence-free boat trip, a boat trip on the Meuse river… you will be spoilt for choice! Finally, do not miss the Abbey of Maredsous or Brasserie du Bocq ('Bocq's brewery') to discover some local beers. And back to your vacation home, why not call on a catering service?
You will be charmed by this contemporary house that preserved its authenticity and benefits from an exceptional setting close to the Ardennes nature.
Profondeville, close to the Meuse and in the Namur province, is a city where you can do all the shopping and sports you want. Yvoir is a small countryside village in the province of Namur at the edge of the region of the Belgian Ardennes. There are many castles; evidence of a rich history. Furthermore, Yvoir is perfectly located to explore the wide area. Half an hour away is Namur , the capital of the Walloon region. Ciney , well known for its famous beers, is just as well very nearby. A great combination of nature and ardent city life.
Anhée is a quite large Walloon village south of the city of Namur. Farmland alternated with forest characterizes the landscape. And then there is the river Meuse flowing just next to the village. Anhée is located close to Dinant , where you can visit the citadel or go kayaking on the Meuse. Going into the other direction you get to Namur in no-time, where you spend an afternoon shopping and experience the night life afterwards. A holiday cottage in Anhée indeed ensures a great mix of peace and quiet and the big city.

What a lovely home in a really beautiful location. The kitchen bedrooms and garden were lovely, well laid out and very clean and tidy. Our 1st weekend was spoiled a little due to a party of very loud guests staying in the attached property but that’s not something that can be anticipated or the fault of the owner. Watch out for mosquitoes in...
Watch out for mosquitoes in the evenings if sitting outside- we were both badly bitten this trip. Will definitely consider using this property again.
